Dorothy, I would suggest that you check out either 1901 or 1911 census records. You have the street name and number of the house, and if your Daniel is recorded in either one, it might open up new leads. Best of luck Brian Dorothy Yereance <[email protected]> wrote: How can I check out one of the names on the nomination list. I'm interested in Daniel McVeigh, 102 Cullingtree RD, Belfast. Hi Brian, Thank you for your reply and advice. I see you are looking for someone who has access to the 1901 or 1910 census, would you be so kind as to tell me who has access to them. Thank you again. Dorothy, Copies of the census are held in many Family History Centres, belonging to the Mormons. A lot of the people on lists go to these centres. There are also records held of 1901 and 1911 Irish Census in Dublin and the 1901 census is held in Public Records Office Northern Ireland (PRONI) in Belfast. Jean McCarthy has a good Belfast site with some census records, which might be worth looking at. Other sites may have bits and pieces of differnet census. Although I live in Belfast, due to work etc I dont often get the chance to get to it. Sometimes, if you put a request for a look-up, if someone is looking up the census that day, you might be lucky and they may remember to do it for you. Its a bit of a hit and miss, and many people dont like to offer, as they will then be inundated with requests.lol. Its not that they are being funny, its just that a lot of people do the research part-time, and have enough problems doing their own stuff, without feeling obligated to do others. Well, take care and let me know how you get on. Brian Dorothy Yereance <[email protected]> wrote: Hi Brian, Thank you for your reply and advice.
