If someone may be visiting PRONI, may I ask please if he or she could do a microfilm lookup for a specific parish, event and date? There is no urgency and I would be grateful for the result at any time. Never having been able to visit PRONI, I cannot tell how long this lookup should take but I hope it would not take long enough to be an inconvenience. Also please let the list know to avoid duplication. The source I have is a patron contribution to the IGI so I can only hope that it is correct and that the parish record may show even more information. The details from this source are: Armagh - Drumcree - Marriage - 18 OCT 1839 - John KENNEDY to Mary BRADLEY. Microfilm ref no: MIC/1/21, 42-43. If this is the couple that I am looking for, they had a daughter born nearly 12 years later in Australia, in 1851, baptised and later married in the Church of Engalnd, but I have not been able to identify their immigration arrival - there is no shortage of John and Mary Kennedys. If I were further able to learn from the baptismal records that they had children before depating, that would either indicate when they emigrated or, if beyond 1851, would unfortunately rule out this couple.
