Hi List My GtGrandparents were Robert MILLER and Mary Jane CARTER. According to the 1881 and 1891 Censuses for Blackburn LAN they were both born in Ireland in 1836 and 1845 respectively. A check of the LDS IGI shows an Alfred William MILLER b 24/1/1864 0215 Belfast, Antrim. The eldest of my Grandmother's (known) siblings, Sarah, was born in 1868 in Lancashire. Is it possible that the Robert MILLER and Mary Jane CARTER in Belfast are my GtGrandparents and that they emigrated between 1864 and 1868 believed, according to family lore, to be via Scotland.
