Hi Listers Would anyone know what film Victoria Barracks people are shown on. I have a family member in 1899 that was a soldier at Victoria Barracks when his wife gave birth to a child there. He was still a soldier in 1904 when his wife gave birth again. This time she had the child at 37 Rosebank St. his parents address. Glen Alderson Calgary Alberta
Hi Glen, I have searched all of the 1901 census for Belfast. (over a long period of time) All Military and police barracks census entries only give initials, for security reasons I expect. The only one that I found that might be what you are looking for is listed as a military or police barracks. The film number is below. Again initials only are given. * 0801742 01 089219 * I am sorry that I cannot be of more help to you at this time.
