I have been trying to find the deaths of certain of my family members - and wonder of any knows if they would put Deceased on the Marriage Certificates if the father was dead at the time of marriage. I have yet to be able to prove this one way or another. I wonder if anyone can tell me if they have a death before the marriage of one of the children and what the certificates says. I may be off on my thinking - but I can't seem to find them after the marriage date so wonder if it could be before and they are just not saying so. I know the English ones do?
