    3. You might have to look a bit further for places within the Diocese. This INDEX gives Surnames and Given Names and Years, but it also gives aliases. Two examples from Armagh marriages: ALLEN William and Amelia JACKSON 1831 ALLEN aka DAVISON Sally and James BARNES aka BARON 1832 The first example shows my 2G grandparents, but I have been looking only for an Emily JACKSON as that is what has been recorded on her children's death certificates. So while the Index doesn't give parishes or townlands, it may help you with other information. Of course the Index is only part of the story as it won't contain marriages that resulted from Banns being called. 3. These are extracts from the Marriage License Bonds of Down, Connor and Dromore 1721-1845 that I did at NAI Dublin when I was there. I have only extracted them for my interest in the surname SHAW but obviously they have the intended spouses listed as well so even if Shaw is not your research name you might still find one of yours as the spouse. If you do find one of interest there however, I have no idea what you do next as because none of them were mine I took it no further. You would have to ask the NAI. 3. I have started putting the names of pupils in the National school register, for Loughbrickland, Aghaderg on my website, the film is a bit smudged and the dates of the register are not in order on the film, so i have started on the first one, i will be putting on names from 1863 to about 1910, These names will not come up on the website search engine till Monday, but you can view the names now by going to the Loughbrickland section of my website, and the best of luck in your research. I know it is not very much to go on but as you all know sometimes we have to start from the bare bones! If there were films available over here to scroll thru' I would do so. Any suggestions anyone?
