    3. Oh I am sorry Brian. I guess I wasn't thinking of the size of the cemetery. Being from a small town I am used to fairly small ones and I thought you would be just viewing the memorial stones. Thankyou any way for your troubles. 3. Marie, I have a photocopy of a Belfast map 1822, and it looks like Patrick Street runs from James Street to intersection of Edward St and Nelson St. The old St Annes Church is close by as is York St and Corporation St. I have also some notes from an old book(1894), which included, ' Belfast Fifty Years Ago', a lecture by Thomas Gaffikin, J.P(1874). there was an appendix which give details of the population of Belfast, taken either in 1822 or 1823. I ma not sure of the exact title etc, but the appendix give the following information: SOUTH DISTRICT: .. Hammonds Court. 5 Houses, 22 Males, 26 females. NORTH DISTRICT: Patrick Street: 54 houses, 120 males, 161 females. I know its not exactly what you wanted but thought it might be of interest to you. Brian . Marie Duggan <[email protected]> wrote: I only have a small modern map of Belfast and am having difficulty finding streets. 1. Researching MARTIN/WARREN/HYDE/CONN
    2. Searching for anyone out there that is also researching these names 1800's to present. Also looking for someone who can do some look-ups for me in the Belfast City Cemetery, I am desperate to find information on these names as my dad who grew up in Belfast has a terminal illness and does not have very long and I would like to find family for him. Anyone who can help it will be appreciated. Cathie

    1. Who was looking for Charlie McKee?
    2. brian magaoidh
    3. Hi All, Sorry for the strange heading, but I know I saw a posting from someone looking for the above person, but can't for the life of me remember where. Just wanted to say I was in Milltown over the weekend and took a digital photo of a Charlie McKees grave, died 1970. If this is him, and whoever was after him let me know and if you want, I can e-mail the photo if you havent got one. Brian --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! 2. DEAR Doris I am taking the liberty on following up on someone else's e mail you sound that you are well informed about BELFAST. I was wondering if you have ever came across the BRANIFF name. Both Catholic and PRESBYTERIAN buried in MILLTOWN and CITY cemeteries. I hope I'm not imposing on you as I have joined a few web sites and didn't have much luck with them.if you think you can help me I would be very thankful. ELLEN{BRANIFF}DE SOUTER
