    3. I have just returned from Belfast and visited Greyabbey, near Bangor, and saw a good few McFADDEN's in the old graveyard ajacent to the Abbey dated early 1100's. The grave yard was over grown though and a bit difficult to read most head stones however, if you're visiting Belfast then maybe Greyabbey would be worth a visit. Good luck. 2. There is a Belfast Street Directory on my web site at the link below. If you know the name of the street you can look up which ward of Belfast the street was in. Once you have the name of the Ward then you can look up the LDS and PRONI film numbers. There are a few film numbers yet to be added but most of them are there. I hope this helps. 3. Hello Maureen, I can't help you with the census but I am wondering how and where you found the "Belfast Street Directory of 1901"? Is it a book somewhere that you can look up surnames and see where they lived? I can see this as being very helpful to me but I have never heard of it. Half of my lines would have been in Belfast by 1901. Thank you Pauline Leonard Ontario, Canada ----- Original Message ----- From: "M. 3. Subject: New data on GenealogyBuff.com Hi all, I just added a bunch more transcriptions of World War I Overseas Casualty Reports to the GenealogyBuff.com library. Go to the "Library" and pick either "Illinois" or "Miscellaneous Data Files" to get to the World War I files. For those interested in British, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh genealogy, the UK version of Ancestry is now offering a 14-day free trial. Get your data while you can...then drop'em if you don't want'em. At least check them out to see what they have. Use this link so GenealogyBuff.com will get credit for promoting it: http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-237737-10388475 Thanks all, Bill

    3. Phil, All I know about Bittles is that there is a bar of that name in Belfast. This might give you a lead to follow. Cheers Brian The Bittles <[email protected]> wrote: good day to all..... 3. Hi Brenda, I have several marriage certs with a father listed as deceased, but the occupation is always listed. And they are from different areas of Ireland. So I would think this is common procedure. I'm no expert, just going by what I've seen in my research. 3. I have been trying to find the deaths of certain of my family members - and wonder of any knows if they would put Deceased on the Marriage Certificates if the father was dead at the time of marriage. I have yet to be able to prove this one way or another. I wonder if anyone can tell me if they have a death before the marriage of one of the children and what the certificates says. I may be off on my thinking - but I can't seem to find them after the marriage date so wonder if it could be before and they are just not saying so. I know the English ones do? Any help would be appreciated. Brenda Anderson Brampton, Ontario
