    3. I have put on my website all the Hawthorne/hawthorn births and marriages for Banbridge parish, also the Kelly, births and marriages for Dromore along with the McClune births and marriages, on the Kilkeel section i have put the Reilly/O'Reilly and Marks births and marriages, The book "An Old Timer Talking" is also on the Kilkeel section, thanks to Mary Lennon of the Lennon/Wylie website who transcribed the book for me, so i guess i will have to pay for the coffee when i meet her in a couple of weeks time in Bangor, there will be nothing else put up on the website for another few weeks as the website will be transferred to an American server anytime now, and i will be relaxing in Banbridge for a week. And the best of luck in your research. 3. Hi Brian: What a great offer of help. I have Annie Hunsdale - 25 Feb 1885 and who I believe is her son Hans Hunsdale - 14 Jan 1894. The grave is listed as being own by Hans Hunsdale which is Annie's husband. The other family is Edward Collette Moore - 06 May 1912 and his wife Louisa Moore - 29 December 1902. Any information would be great. I hadn't thought to take that route. But then again I am not sure where to look for newspaper notices. 3. Try the link below. There is not an e-mail address but there are telephone numbers and directions on how to get there. There is also a page on the history of the City cemetery and explanation of the name Glenalina Cemetery. When I was there in 2000 there was no sign of a computer or computerised records. I had to search the original enormous old record books. If I recall correctly the cemetery is 99 acres in size so it takes quite a long time to find the grave that you are looking for. I hope this helps. 3. It is not likely that they would have the actual film you need, unless they have a very large centre. You need to have the address of the family you want to look up. Given the address the LDS person would be able to look up the correct FHL microfilm number, which you could then order in for a small fee. You could also check Jean McCarthy's website, which has some census information as well as streets for Belfast If you are really fortunate, you may find it on this site. http://www.belfastfamilyhistory.com/ Al Valentine ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jackie Serna" <jaserna@sympatico.ca> To: <irl-belfast-city@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, April 07, 2007 2:55 PM Subject: [BELFAST] Belfast 1901 census at LDS question > Hi list, I have a question and I hope I have worded it correctly > > If I were to ask if someone in Belfast was going to their local LDS > centre would it be possible that they might find there the local Belfast > 1901 census films? > > Do local LDS's carry or have on hand their local films or do all films > have to be ordered in? > > Thanks and I hope this is not a question that wastes everyones time. > > Jackie (Toronto, Can) > > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to IRL-BELFAST-CITY-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. I came across a book, 'The 2nd Royal Irish Rifles in the Great War ' by James W. Taylor. In case anyone is interested, it is published by Four Courts Press and the ISBN is 1-85182-952-0. The book appears to give a fairly detailed history of the 2nd Batt. My interest in it is due to a Timothy Dougherty, who served in 2 RIR, and who died in May 1918 in Cairns St.,Belfast, as a result of war wounds.
