    1. [BELFAST] ADMINISTRATION was re blank e-mails
    2. David
    3. Good question!!!!! I put this e-mail address into 'moderated' mode because this had been happening previously. I subsequently vetted the latest messages for content. I allowed them to be posted because there was definitely legitimate queries, etc. I'm not sure what's happening here - they were okay when I accepted them but for some strange reason they have come through to list in this 'blank' format. I'll look into it but would ask "Navyheights" to check for problems at their end. 1. [BELFAST] Samuel and Isabella SHAW
    2. Can someone tell me more about these two people: husband and wife Samuel and Isabella SHAW please? Also information about their children listed below --- their birth dates and information from their birth or bapismal records. Samuel died in Belfast 3 November 1869 Isabella died in Belfast 11 September 1878 They were married about 1815 in Sligo or Belfast area They had six children Emily, Frances, Matilda, Samuel, Pringle and William all born in the same area. The family went to New Brunswick, Canada about 1836. The senior Samuel and his wife must have returned to Belfast in the 1840's because I have seen information that during the last twenty years of his life Samuel acted as clerk of ballast under the Belfast Harbour Commissioners. Someone has said that he was born in 1789 in Killyleagh Co., Down, Ireland. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

    3. >>Afraid not Carole. The Register of Deceased Seamen began in 1887.<< Well rats! Thanks for the offer Andy. My John Kelley left for America in 1850 and sent for his 2nd wife and his two children in 1851. His wife Mary Crozier had died in 1847 in Bangor and buried with her Crozier family. Guess they finally forgave her for marrying that lowly sailor. ;o)
