Can't immediately see a link to mine, however it is always good to check any source available in hopes of breaking down that brick wall. I will certainly retain this information for the future. Don't know why my research has to be so difficult when my husband's line has revealed so much, I know there are no guarantees in this hobby & perseverence often pays off. Thanks again. Could I impose upon you please to check if there are any of these surnames listed. KENNEDY, BLACK / BLAKE HIGGINSON JACKSON PATTISON My Kennedy ancestor was born in Antrim in 1809 & joined the East India Company Army in 1829 & went to India with his wife, ( I don't know her surname ), but the other names above were used as second christian names for the children born out there, so feel they may too be family surnames.
