    1. [IRL-ANTRIM] PORTGLENONE and BEATTIE
    2. Elaine Mattsen
    3. Thank you Nevin and all the researchers who helped me with my map etc. I used the Multimap one with the links that were given on list. If you go the index page there is a map of PORTGLENONE There is also a seperate website I took the advice of list members and did a google. e.g. www.google.com and I put in Portglenone+Ireland+history first then adapted the second search Portglenone map and Geneology These are the first Beatty surnames I have so far-it is a start. Well it is well known here in NZ that our ancestors couldn't read or write or most of them couldn't Annie Spelt her named Beattie on her letter into the country as an immigrant, but I do not know if it was written for her. I originally was looking for BEATY, then BATY. I imagine that a KERR married a BEATTY or BEATTIE in Ireland perhaps Portglenone ----- Original Message ----- From: <irl-antrim-request@rootsweb.com> To: <irl-antrim@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, December 01, 2006 1:32 PM Subject: IRL-ANTRIM Digest, Vol 1, Issue 85 > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
