Still searching for my elusive Chambers ancestors from Belfast Great great grandparents: Thomas Chambers and Agnes Brady (m December 17 1858 Newtownards. They had numerous children (born in Newtownards or Belfast) including the following: a.. Jane (b. May 5 1868) b.. Jane (b. June 6 1874 (yes a second Jane...have yet to find the death of Jane number 1) c.. Mary (b. June 3 1876) d.. William (b. May 3 1870 (my great grandfather)) e.. Agnes (b. April 27 1872) According to William's obituary in Montreal in 1919, there were three other sons, one of which I believe is John Andrew. William married Elizabeth Williamson (date?) Their son, Thomas, ( my grandfather) who was born in Belfast Ireland in 1897. Elizabeth disappears soon after his birth (did she die in child birth???) while William remarries in Montreal Canada in 1909 to Frances Jane Rollins, a family friend from Lisburn Ireland Anyone sound familiar
Jane: I don't know if this the same Chambers family or not, but a Benjamin Chambers came to Pennsylvania in 1730 along with a brother they were Ulsterscots, but that is all that I can tell you about them.
