Spouse's ancestors were from Broughshane and very little indeed it is that we know about them in Ireland. Sum total is that Jane MOORE of Broughshane born c. 1826 married James ANDERSON of Beath, Kinross, Scotland in Melbourne, Victoria, OZ in 1854. Jane's reputed parents were Samuel MOORE and Elizabeth PHILLIS (as it written down on the marriage certificate) but more likely to have been FELLOWS. We have evidence that Elizabeth migrated also - about 1856 to Melbourne as a widow and that a son, Alexander also came out but, similarly, died soon after arrival. A daughter, Mary, married John WILSON at East Melbourne in 1854. Mary died in 1865 at Collingwood, Vic. Ring any bells? Anyone? :-) the older of the tworobbos at Bairnsdale, gateway to East Gippsland
