I was a member of this list a few years ago, and have recently rejoined. My family of Hugh MAGILL (b. 1803), wife Elizabeth RAINEY (b. 1807), lived in the Ahoghill Galgorm Parks area. Had, at least, the following children: William John MAGILL, b. 1825, Baptised 1st Ballymena Pres. Church, married Elizabeth WALLACE. They had a daughter Isabella, b. abt. 1847 who died 1847 on the ship enroute to Philadelphia, PA. They settled in Philadelphia, PA where all their other children were born. David MAGILL, emigrated to US, through Philadelphia, then New Orleans in abt. 1847. Settled and married in Swanwick, Perry Co., IL. and, Probably a daughter, Elizabeth MAGILL, b. abt. 1823. She is found living with the family of William John MAGILL & Elizabeth (WALLACE) MAGILL in the 1850 Philadelphia, PA census.
