    3. All these great Antrim listers and not a Hunter, Mulvenna or McVicker amongst ya! :) Greetings all... My Ireland folks come from the Carnlough area. The line goes as follows: Patrick Hunter m. Elizabeth Mulvenna abt. 1828 Children: Neal Hunter b. Jun 20, 1829 Patrick Hunter b. Mar 29, 1831 Mary Anne Hunter b. Mar 11, 1833 *Daniel Hunter b. Apr 25, 1835 Sarah Hunter b. Feb 15, 1837 Margaret Hunter b. Jun 9, 1839 John Hunter b. May 4, 1844 *Daniel Hunter b. 1835 m. Rose McVicker bd. Unknown Children: Mary Hunter b. Dec 9, 1860 Patrick Hunter b. May 19, 1869 Daniel Hunter b. Dec 18, 1871 *Daniel was baptised at the Carnlough RC Church, he died Feb 17, 1878. His last known address was 5 Harphall, Glenarm. After Daniel died Rose remarried to James McKeegan on Sept 15,1886. Unknown where she lived after that time or when she died. My great-grandfather Patrick Hunter (b. 1869) m. abt 1892 in New York, Margaret Gallagher b. Sept 28, 1873 New York Margaret's father Peter Gallagher was also from Ireland, unknown what area. He was a plasterer as was his father, Peter. He moved to England where he met and married his wife Annie Davies. Her father's name was William, listed as a Laborer. Hi Barbara, My kin come from the Glens as well ,..and some from Carnlough....I have record of another Neil Hunter who is probably connected to the family you outlined ...from my site Sarah Clare McKenty (1871-1919) married Neil Hunter (1866-1958) ( they married in Antrim and I believe eventually settled in California) Generation II (Children of Sarah and Neil Hunter) 1.
