Hello! I'm a Neill with roots in the Belfast area. I don't know much about the family there, I'm still pounding my head against the brick wall from when they moved from Belfast to Vancouver BC. Roll call, I'm a Shanks from Belfast in 1767. Mathew Shanks and son James came to Charleston, S. Carolina, USA to settle in Abbeville Co. Seeking anyone from the Belfast area and Antrium Co. with early Shanks connections. Also, Robert Wilson, came to the Charleston area prior to that time, a relative of James and his mother.
