    3. Yes I agree with you on researchers etc. I know two in Dublin and hesitate to ask them much and take up their time, but by the same token I have supplied both of them with American info which seems to fascinate them. Do you really live between a Amish & Mennonite community? Exactly what is a Mexican Mennonite? I have never heard of them. It's funny I am agnostic towards ALL organized religion, I believe in God and it ends there. When I am in the area of Mercersburg, Pa. I stop in and talk to the Pastor of a large Mennonite church, they have a wall covered with a model of the Brethern's from the year 1000 on the Swiss/German border till today and all of the off shoots. The Amish started it all. What part of Canada do you live in ? I am very familar with the maritime provinces and Quebec. Can you believe I once made a trip there just to drink Canadian beer!!! 3. Sorry, I forgot to attach the email address yesterday for the RCB library: susan.hood@rcbdub.org I live in Southern Ontario (London). The Mexican Mennonites were an offshoot of the Mennonites that started on the same Swiss German border, but migrated to Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada, but then went from there to Mexico. They searched for places that would allow them to practise their religion. Then they came to Elgin Co near here. Interetingly, they are still German first-language. Not the first time I've heard that about Canadian beer. It is the usual request from American contacts from their Canadian friends and relatives. Ours is stronger, more full bodied - and COLD! 3. Wendy: I don't know if this a coincidence or not but I have spoken at length with the Mercersburg Pastor of the Mennonite church, he doesn't speak any German at all, but he does speak Spanish and he has a German surname. I assume they tithe as I saw on the msg. board the weekly collection was $3200.00 and some dollars and I askeds him how many menbers he had and he said 170.
