John Morrison, b 1811 Antrim parents John Morrison, Margaret English Mary Ann Moore b 1816 parents James Moore, Elizabeth Crawford John and Mary Ann Morrison immigrated to Scotland about 1840. So far I haven't located John and Mary Ann's marriage. They had 2 children in Bellshill (1838 and 1840), then one in BothWell, Lanark, then Cumbuslang, Stonefield, and Kirkpatrick-Fleming. I am also trying to find the siblings and parents of William Anthony Upton, b Tipperary, Cork, Ireland in 1830, according to the english census. Family legend has it that the Upton family orginally came from County Antrim, but so far I haven't been able to find the connection between William Anthony Upton and an Antrim Upton. Have you tried the Upton family in St. Joseph, Michigan? They are the founders of Whirlpool Corp. and Fred is the U.S. Representative for the district. They are a very prominent family and have probably researched their roots. Could be the same line as yours?
