Nevin I appreciated the reply. If you ever find any McConnells in the Ballynagg or Seacon (especially) and Ballymoney areas I would love that information as that is where my family was living in the 1830s and I am at a dead end! I am in New Zealand but had two and a half years in Ireland recently and extracted Taggarts from some of the Coleraina-Ballymoney registers for that County Antrim area if those entries would be of any use to you - I copied them down primarily as they married McConnells. Nevin I obviously missed the start of this conversation -- probably the day I arrived home from a week away and found 350 entries on my emails. I gather that you have access to the Antrim Tithe Applotment Book and are kindly doing look ups for folk. If that is so, would it be possible to check on William/George Hanna for me and Sampson Murray? These people ended up in Co Down, or at least my line did, but I have not been able to find out anything other than a name in that County. Assuming they might have been elsewhere and Antrim is close to Magheralin it is an outside chance. Appreciate anything you can find. Jennifer
