Ronda I have a Jane SLOAN who married John CUNNINGHAM in 1824 they were my gt gt gt grandparents. I wonder if she could be a sister to your James? Not sure where Clough is - if it is by Newcastle then probably not same one as my family was married at Ballyscullion/Grange Presbyterian church which is near to Ballymena/Randlestown.
