Hi Karen It's always nice to hear from other Purdy/Purdie relatives. Your gg-grandmother's parents (John and Elizabeth) would be around the same age as my gg-grandfather Robert. Steve I'm rather ignorant of the geography of Antrim, apart from what some very kind people have informed me in the past (thanks Nevin!). Bushmills is in the northern part of Antrim, in the parish of Billy, near the Giants Causeway. Bushmills has a distillery (oops - that shows my priorities! lol!!). One day (work, family, money, etc permitting, lol!) I will get to visit the area, and see for myself where my ancestors came from! Because I've no knowledge (so far) of any other family members, though I would think it possible, I will keep your "branch" in my records, so that I can see if there is any overlap as I find more information!
