    3. Hi Lynette: Their surname was actually "Officer" which is frustrating to search for because, as you can imagine, all the officers (bank, civil, customs and otherwise) appear when googled. I will certainly check the 1851 census as another lister suggested. Hopefully I can navigate around the web to find it. Thanks for the suggestions! 3. Hi Barbara: Yes, I have access to all the Ontario records via the local library and have this information. Thanks for your help and interest. I still always appreciate any input even if I already have the information. It just confirms that what I have previously found actually exists. 3. Bill: Many, many thanks for this information. Not sure of where some of these Officers fit into the current family of William Officer and Margaret Ann Adgey, but with a little more research......who knows. It always amazes me when fellow enthusiasts find the valuable information much more quickly and with seemingly less effort. I'm still quite a 'newbie' at this so my resources and knowledge of whats available on-line are still fairly limited. I will definitely be checking out the websites that you attached. I had no idea that they existed....and will continue to search for my elusive family in Antrim County. I truly appreciate all the help and information that you and other wonderful listers have offered.
