    3. I contacted the Presbyterian Historical Society of Ireland and received a very nice letter back from the organization's Assistant Secretary, Mr. Alan K. McMillan. [If you write to the Rev. Dr. W. D. Bailie of the organization, he is not answering correspondence as he is in his mid eighties, so said Mr. McMillan.] They have one part time assistant at the society to do the research - and unless you have specific information to check in the Belfast area directly, they will recommend that you contact a private genealogical researcher (as they did for me). Mr. McMillan thanked me for my donation, but returned it as they could not do anything for me and did not feel right keeping it. I had, however, prepaid the international postage, so other than the time replying to my letter, I did not cause them to incur any further expense. My best of luck to those who contact the Historical Society and hope they can help you.
