    3. Thanks Susan. I did send a letter to Lylehill Presbyterian Church and an e-mail to Templepatrick Presbyterian Church and have received no reply to either. That was about a month ago. I was thinking of a follow-up. I do have a lot more information on my Spence family whereas my Johnston family, I only have Co.Antrim written down. I suspect there was a connection between these 2 families before they came to the Ottawa area where Jane Russell Spence married William Robert Johnston, and became my g grandparents. A long time ago, I did try to make contact with the Presbyterian Historical Society as well.
