    1. Re: [IRL-ANTRIM] Officer Surname

    3. I, too, am researching the Officer family on my mother's side, from County Antrim. In particular, from the Dundrod, Killead, Ballydonoghy areas. I have a John Officer (gggg-grandfather) born about 1795, married Rose Ann MCKEOWN abt. 1816. John's father possibly Samuel OFFICER, from Carnmoney. Still haven't fully certified his father to date, although John was born in Carnmoney Parish. Children of John and Rose Ann are: William, Matilda, Agnes, James, Robert and Marie(a). Should this family not connect into your, there is another OFFICER family who maybe connected further back of which I hold details. Would love to hear from you. P.
