Hi My cousin and I are researching the DALE family from Ballycloughan, Ballymena area. Ferguson DALE, my great grandfather, emigrated to Australia in 1857 and his marriage certificate states that he was born in 1837 in Ballymena to a Samuel DALE and Margaret BEATTIE. There is also a possible connection to the KENNY family through Martha DALE, Samuel's sister. My great grandfather did not like to talk about his family left behind in Northern Ireland, consequently we do not know if he had any brothers or sisters. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
