    3. Many of you already know but for those who don't.... the 1851 census is on line. Try one of these http://www.census-online.com/links/Ireland/Antrim/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~irish/igsi_published/cens-sub/ant5100.htm There were, and probably still are, transcriber issues but they're a good source.. I believe there are more problems with the reliability of the version of the on line index for Griffiths valuation. There are a number of omissions for my family groups which are contained on my print and digitized sources not on the web version ........................................ gerry -----Original Message----- From: irl-antrim-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:irl-antrim-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of N.E.Parkes Sent: December 28, 2006 5:28 AM To: gregorwright@rcn.com; irl-antrim@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [IRL-ANTRIM] Officer Surname Gregeo, There are three(?) OFFICER families given in the remaining fragments of the 1851 census of Ireland for Killead Parish in County Antrim. Killead Parish is on the north-east shore of Lough Neagh and a bit south of Antrim town. Do you have access to the 1851 census fragments or will I exract the relevant returns and email to you? I don't have an interest in the Officer surname. My lots are from Portrush (Mann) and Mosside (Chestnut) in North Antrim.
