    1. Re: [IRL-ANTRIM] DALE FAMILY, Ballycloughan, Ballymena
    2. Thanks Nevin. The one in the Ballycloghan area is the closest. From what I have found out a Samuel and Margaret Dale did live in Ballycloghan. In the 1910 Ulster Town Directory for Ballymena, there are also two Dales under Broughshane - one in Ballycloghan and one in Kinbilly. The Kenny family mainly lived around Kirkinriola and Ballygarvey from what I have been told by Kenny researchers. Another of my cousins who does a lot of business with Ireland, travels to Belfast one or twice a year and is willing to help us but doesn't quite know his way around yet. His firm makes beer taps. 2. Hi Merv Here is a reply I received when I sent an email to the Ireland-Antrim mailing list on Rootsweb recently. This guy is a mine of information. It is the only reply so far. Have a look on the map link at the bottom. I searched the PRO website when I got home, and I found out they also had another file on the Tandarra farm to 1911. Act 19 went to 1880 and Act 20 went to 1911. If you register on line, you can order the files and go in and have a look at them within 10 days. I thought I would never leave the office today. Our office is being painted over the holidays so we have had a good clear and had to move all the furniture, etc. into the middle of each office and the painter will put dust covers over. The venetian blinds were picked up this morning to be cleaned. We are having some of our office furniture taken away and new stuff dropped the week before I go back. My boss is only going in a couple of days that week otherwise she will work at home. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 2. Hi Listers Sorry about my previous mail, I hit the Reply instead of the Forward. I was forwarding Nevin's reply to my cousin Mervyn in Australia. One should not be allowed near a computer when one has had a glass of white wine in the name of Christmas. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from New Zealand. Shirlee
