A little while ago I asked for help in relation to a document that is in my husband's family. You may remember reading about it - The document was for the taking of affidavits etc in relation to the Province of Ontario, Canada. It would appear that this family member may have been what we would term as being an immigration officer - he was probably one of many people who were given the powers to interview those wanting to move to Canada.
