    1. [IRL-ANTRIM] PRONI Townland maps
    2. Murray Lynn
    3. I am sure that I must have noticed this before - it is a while since I looked up a townland - but I have just been looking up a townland location on the Proni maps and realised that the numbers on the lists and those on the maps do not match. Using the numbers, Portglenone does not make any sense. If I am interpreting the faint numbers correctly, it shows Casheltown and Kilcurry (which are near New Ferry) to the north of Aughnahoy (which is just outside Portglenone). The lists are numbered in alphabetic order and the maps are numbered south to north - I doubt our ancestors where quite as symmetrical as this! Am I totally missing something and are there any other sources with accurate townland maps? Kind Regards Murray Lynn Christchurch New Zealand My NZ Genealogy Site <http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/mlynn/>

    1. [IRL-ANTRIM] The 'Wilson' at Cullybackey Old Methodist Church Burial Ground
    2. Bob Wilson
    3. Joanne - The WILSON mentioned on the list is interred in the Burial Ground of the Buick family at the Cullybackey Old Methodist Church, and is noted as part of the text on a marker erected by an Alexander Buick...noting the presence in the plot of his wife, his sister, his father, his mother, his grandfather and his grandmother, all named Buick. But also noted on the marker is "...His Great-Grandson Wm. Gary Wilson Died in Infancy 6th Oct 1970." This is the only Wilson catalogued in this cemetery. This is of some interest to me, not because of the Wilson name, but because it describes a Buick family. My presumed Wiseman cousin, Wesley J. Cathcart, now of Ballymena, also has ancestral family ties to a Buick family, but I'm not sure itt is the same set of Buicks. Wes' Wiseman ancestors were from the nearby town of Broughshane.
