Hi Could anyone tell me if a town named "Kings Moss" still exists, and, if so, are any Irvines living there still? I have traced my great-grandfather, James Irvine, to Carnmoney Parish and this town. Also, any Irvines related to John and Elizabeth Irvine, married in 1844 at Carnmoney Parish, Antrim? Thank you for your time. SallyAnn McChesney
I need a lesson on researching in Belfast as I've found some information on the family and would like to continue while I'm on a roll. From the IGI I have film numbers for births such as 101090 101135 101160 and 101190. Do these films show parents names, maybe occupations like one finds on the films for English records or do they give a reference number for ordering certificates? Also there is a marriage in 1857 but no film number because it'e a patron submission. Would this be available on film or do I need to order the certificate? Also are there films for baptisms pre 1864? On ancestryireland I found a baptism for 1827 but I don't know if there is a film for this or similar records. regards Barbara
