    1. [IRL-ANTRIM] CARROLL, Robert & Mary (aka Margaret) BELL his wife
    2. I am searching for information on my 4 great-grandfather Robert Carroll (1734 – 10/28/1831 Washington County, Pennsylvania, USA), his wife, Mary (aka Margaret) Bell (1747 – 4/5/1811 Washington County, Pennsylvania, USA) & family. · Family history indicates they were born in County Antrim and left due to religious persecution, (no proof available except tradition/family history) · The information listed below indicates they left Londonderry, Ire. on 8/14/1768 and landed in New Castle, Delaware, USA on 10/3/1768, (their ship may have had an ultimate destination of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA) · Family history indicates their original surname was McCarroll (no proof available except tradition/family history and a few tombstones with that name). Other spellings of their surname found on tombstones, census and family bibles are CARRAL, CARREL & CAREL. · Family history indicates the original origin of our family may have been Scotland (no proof available except tradition/family history.) Any information is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Lou Lou Emeterio [email protected]_ (mailto:[email protected]) ___________________________________________ The Raymond M.
