William Stewart, curate of the chapel of ease; Alexander Knox Esquire, M.D.; Lieutenant Shortt, R.N., chief officer of coastguard; the residences of these gentlemen are plain, substantial houses, mostly 2-storeys high and without anything in their architecture or appearance worthy of description.
