My great grandmother came out to NZ and married mid 1870 in the Napier area and on her shipping records is listed as Annie BEATTIE Derry On her employment record it states Portglenone and after some help from listers I googled and found quite a lot re the history and beautiful walks and forest and Isn't there a Abbey there as well?
