    3. Hi, You have now succeeded in confusing me. If my ancestors lived at one of two place (Mullinsallagh & Garvaghy) where would they have worshipped? Assuming that these two possibilities are my ancestors, of course!! Jane Liewah Station Moulamein nsw 2733 -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Murray Sent: Monday, 14 April 2008 12:19 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [IRL-ANTRIM] Portglenone RC folks Hi Rick While I'm sure that some would have travelled in to Ahoghill, it is my understanding that the local chapel for Portglenone was Aughnahoy which is just out of Portglenone along the road to Ahoghill. From both the records and gravestones, my family (Lynn, O'Kane, McCorley, Graffin) seemed to use Aughnahoy rather than Ahoghill even though they lived in the south of the parish in Casheltown and Kilcurry parishes and Ahoghill was probably the closer of the two. Aughnahoy came under St Mary's, Ahoghill (not to be confused with St Mary's, Portglenone which was built in about 1870/71) and it's records are part of the Ahoghill Parish records probably as until about the mid 1850s Ahoghill Civil Parish included Ahoghill, Portglenone and Craigs parishes.
