I have recently found a couple of family announcements in The Irish Times, which leads me to believe that members of my STERNE research lived in Larne around 1940s. Firstly I have found the death announcement of an ELLEN STERNE late of Arklow, Co.Wicklow, wife of Richard J. Sterne died 12 May 1942. Her address was Bridge House Larne. The second announcement was a marriage that took place in Blackpool of WILLIAM STERNE son of Mr. and the late Mrs. R.J.Sterne, Bridge House, Larne, on 13 June 1942.
