    3. Hi Sharon Sorry I did not see earlier that you were looking for records in Ballyeaston. I have a lot of records for the area and have found the baptism of Andrew in First Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church records. Unfortunately it does not give his mothers name. I will have a search later and see what else I can find. 1. [IRL-ANTRIM] Jane Martin (Davison) & Mary Ann Davison - any info
    2. Lea-Anne Davison
    3. This is my first post to this list. Any help would be appreciated. I am interested in the children of George Davison, Crosshill d 23 Mar 1854. His will mentions William John ( my direct ancestor), James, Mary Ann and Jane Martin (Davison). I have information on William John and was aware of James via PRONI Letter of Administration and Griffiths Valuations. To my knowledge James did not married and died in 12 Feb 1887. I would be very pleased to receive any information on Mary Ann or Jane Martin (Davison) Anything at all would be great. Thanks Lea-Anne

    1. Re: [IRL-ANTRIM] Surnames from 1815 Letter
    2. Dear Linda, My gg grandfather David Spence was married to Helen Murray in 1850 in Rasharkin parish in Antrim. According to the age on his death certificate he must have been born around. 1826. His father Robert Spence was married to Agnes Mc Kee. other than that I am not able to get any further back. However, the names Robert, James, Hugh and David are often repeated in the Scottish generations of the family from 1860 onwards. Does any of this ring bells with your information??? 3. Linda, are there any McCalmonts mentioned? Thanks for your input, Leigh -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Linda Holley Sent: Tuesday, 18 May 2010 10:25 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [IRL-ANTRIM] Burnside Family Some of the list may remember my numerous posts asking for help with my Burnside family. Thought I would share my great news. Yesterday I received a copy of a letter written by my gggg grandfather, Robert Burnside to two of his sons, Alexander and John in Beaver Co., PA. The letter is dated 1815 and is from Galgorm Parks - just where I thought they might be living but had no proof. I also got a copy of a letter written by my ggggg grandmother, dated 1788 also from Galgorm Parks to her daughter and son in law in MD. There are quite a few surnames in these letters that might be of interest to the group. If anyone wants copies please let me know and I will send you an email off list and attach the letters. Thank everyone who helped me these last 2+ years. It has been greatly appreciated! 3. Leigh, No, I am sorry they are not mentioned. I am going to compile a surname list from the 2 Burnside letters and also include names from some Aken letters that I have also received and post it to the list. 3. Johnno, Try the Mormons first. It's free. Try both sites http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html http://fsbeta.familysearch.org/s/collection/list See what they have. It may not be complete. Try also submitted family trees at Ancestry (if you have a subscription) or http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi Otherwise you might try http://ifhf.brsgenealogy.com/ It's a pay site, but if you register you can search for free and only pay for detailed records. As the family moved around, you'll need to check on a county by county basis. Just click on the map. Kilkenny is split into North & South but you should get good coverage for there and in Belfast and Londonderry. Peter
