    3. Hi, thouht I would post my brick wall in hopes that some new folks might just recognize a name. My grandfather John Alexander PAGE was born in Whiteabbey Nov 1883 to parents Joseph PAGE and Margaret PATTERSON. I also found probably a brother William Page Male Event(s): Birth: 01 MAR 1881 Whiteabbey, Antrim, Ireland Parents: Father: Joseph Page Mother: Margaret Patterson Page Joseph and Margaret were married in Joymount 2nd Carrickfergus in 1878. Joseph's father is listed as William of Waringstown and Margaret's John Patterson of Carrickfergus. Does anyone have a connection with these families? I have been trying for soooooo long. Here's hoping. Jackie (Canada)

    3. Very many thanks Mike, you sure are doing a wonderful job. Can't immediately see a link to mine, however it is always good to check any source available in hopes of breaking down that brick wall. I will certainly retain this information for the future. Don't know why my research has to be so difficult when my husband's line has revealed so much, I know there are no guarantees in this hobby & perseverence often pays off. Thanks again. Could I impose upon you please to check if there are any of these surnames listed. KENNEDY, BLACK / BLAKE HIGGINSON JACKSON PATTISON My Kennedy ancestor was born in Antrim in 1809 & joined the East India Company Army in 1829 & went to India with his wife, ( I don't know her surname ), but the other names above were used as second christian names for the children born out there, so feel they may too be family surnames. With knowing so little about them, I am delighted to be able to take advantage of your kindness in offering to check this record. Many Thanks, Merril Bourne, New Zealand
