    3. I'm looking for bits of info on one of my husband's great-aunts, Emily Florence Flanagan, b. 30 Jul 1901, d.1972 in Springfield, Massachusetts. She was later Sr. Mary of the Resurrection, Good Shepherd Order. Novitiate, Peekskill, NY, studied at the Haywood Institute of Music in NYC, and may have worked with the choir at Sacred Heart in the Bronx. I have a note from St. Monica's that her godparents were Thomas Flanagan and Annie Lanchey. I tried searching for a Haywood Institute in NY, and the only thing I found was a reference to the "Haywood Institute of Universal Song." This was in a listing on abebooks.com for "Universal Song Volume One" by Frederick H. Haywood. The cached page I found first gave the publication date as 1923, but a current listings say 1916 and 1917. http://dogbert.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=517972691 http://dogbert.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=94031879 I found no other references to the Institute. Haywood apparently went on to Eastman School of Music at Rochester. http://www.rochester.edu/Eastman/sibley/specialc/esmhistory.php Does anyone know anything about this Haywood Institute? Thanks!
