Great News! I got some info on my Isabelle Creen O'Donnell. It cost about $25.00 for those interested. She was buried Holy Cross (1-718-284-4520) . She is in the Saint Ann section, Row H, grave number 34, no marker, under the Patrick Cadigam family grave, for a total of five people buried in this grave site. Holy Cross records indicate that while Isabelle was born on Oct 5, 1905, she died on Oct 4, 1938. Holy Cross said the gravesite had been in arrears since 1941 and there is no marker. Question- is this common to have grave upon grave? I told my Aunt about this and she had no idea where her Mother was buried and was shocked I found out. She was thrilled! Also, her husband listed her birthdate as October 12, 1906 and her father as Joseph Creen (His name is Ruffus Creen) on her death certificate. He had her name as Isabell M. On previous census sent to me by Wendy (THANK YOU!) she is listed as Isabell J. If it wasn't for so much of your (rootswebbers!) help and encouragement I would never have found this out! Someone, I can't remember who, I am sorry asked where I lived before moving here- Northeast NE, a town of about 5000, a small college town. After my Dad retired from the Air Force he taught college. For you New Yorkers and big city folks -- FYI -- It takes approx. 7 hours to drive from one end of South Dakota (E-W) to the other and there are less than 2 million people! I live in Lawrence County and there are about 15,000 people or less! Lots of land, lots of deer, lots of elk, a few mountain lions, and even people. Thank you! Kathleen O'Donnell Grone Mars Opposition happens about every 26 months and the next Opposition occurs on November 7, 2005. It will be a very nice object to view in the telescope. It will be about 20 arc seconds across and it will be very bright. The prime times to observe it will be between now (early am) and Feb. 2006 (early to late evening). --------------------------------- Discover Yahoo! My husband's uncle wrote: "In the NYC cemeteries, it isn't uncommon to find two or three people buried in the same grave, but four is indeed rare. They received some special 'rate' back around 1950, when Emma passed away, for four interments. I told the grave crew to be careful when they mow the lawn there and not take the top off my Auntie's coffin...." The burials in this plot are: Emma Augusta Flanagan (nee Hall), d.1951 Fred Brumm (spouse of Marian Flanagan), d.abt. 1953 Edward John Flanagan, d.1955 Marian Brumm (nee Flanagan), d.2003 Emma and Edward are my husband's great-grandparents, and Marian was their daughter.
