The arm became swollen, and on the 11th inst DOUGHERTY went to the Flatbush Hospital, where he died of lockjaw, on Monday last. The only witness was the husband of deseased, who testified that his wife has been a great sufferer for months past from rheumatism, and that on the day on which she hanged herself she was suffering from a fit of melancholy.
