Hi! Thanks to Liz and Diane for their help with the Emigrant Bank records. I'm still trying to read the entries on Acct no. 7357, July 6, 1854. Robert McDowell gives his place of birth as "Native of Thornhill 3 miles from Edgeworthstown, Cty Longford." I think it next says his father is dead. The next line lists names but I'm not sure who is named. I think it reads "John, Mar__, Ellen Cody is married to Eliza Byrne 28?" He's a porter at No 7 somewhere.
