Marge I see that you are looking for a "McAleer". My mother's family were McAleer and came from Belfast but originally they were from the Tyrone area and came to Belfast probably via Monaghan. There was some emigration to the US in the mid to late 1800s. Do you have any other McAleers who came to the US?
