    3. I'm having a difficult time finding my wifes family, HANLEY, in NYC records. Was there a favorite catholic church that the Irish joined? Also was there a heavily settled Irish community that may hold the information I'm looking for? The period of time was 1850's to 1869. They then moved to Cranston, RI. Thank you...........Roy Michel

    3. Roy, Red Hook, Brooklyn is the most likely place that thr Irish settled. Visitation RC Church was the only church they would have attended. I have detailed information about this section. What else do you know about your family?
