I remember my father taking me there when I was a kid in the 1970s, and the brownstone was still there. It's right across the street from thatl little park. I can't remember the name of it. (Actually it was the only time my father took us kids down there, as we were forbidden to go down to Red Hook.) Then again, that was 30 some-odd years ago, so it could have been torn down.
