Vince Walsh My wifes GGrandfather's name was John Francis Hanley. According to RI death records he was born in Ireland on November 10, 1830. I have no idea when he came to America. His wife's maiden name was Elizabeth Brennan, but she was married before. In the 1900 RI>Providence Cty>Burrillville Census, Elizabeth(Eliza)Hanley was born in Ireland in 1817 and came to America in 1858. I don't know if they came married or were married in NY. They had 2 daughters while living in NY. Catherine was the oldest and born about 1863 and then Ann who was born about 1868 or 69. The girls were born in NY. They then moved to Cranston, RI, where John Joseph Hanley was born on Decenber 25, 1870.
