I searched on the LDS site but there were very limited voter registration records for NYC. As far as I know, the Municipal Archives has the records from 1872-1922, and the Board of Elections has from 1923 on. These must be actual records and not microfilm, since the records are stored offsite and must be ordered in advance. Not all years are available. I did see something at www.jewishgen.org about a search service by the Municipal Archives but that might be outdated. I have e-mailed the Municipal Archives about this but haven't heard back yet.
