Looking for the parents of Peter Lynch. Thomas Lynch and wife Mary ? may have come to the United States between 1830-1845. I know, I know.... quite a big gap, but since their son Peter Lynch did not live until the 1900 Census, having died Dec. 29, 1873 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH, I'm not sure of his immigration date. I believe that Peter was born about 1829. Prior to 1858, Peter Lynch married Bridget McKenna. They lived in Haverstraw, Rockland Co., NY at the birth of their son, James Peter Lynch. Do not know if Thomas and wife Mary lived in Haverstraw also. Does anyone have access to the 1860 census for Rockland County? If so, could you please search the 1860 Rockland County, Haverstraw area, for a Thomas and Mary Lynch. I know that Peter Lynch and wife, Bridget McKenna, are in Haverstraw at this time because of a previous census search. At the time I did the search for Peter and Bridget, I did not know his parents names. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
