I have a family who lived at 6 West 41st St, in the 459th Enumeration District. in NYC in 1880. Wife came from Cork. What Catholic Church would they have attended? Bill Chamberlain

Oh, Bill, I do hope this is our family. I do not know which church they would have attended - at that time Catholics were pretty much held to the Parish they lived in? I know that Jerome's funeral was held in Old St. Patricks but I think that is because of its size and ability to handle a large crowd. Again, the names would be: Mother: Ellen Ryan Collins, Daniel Francis, Jerome Janus , and Bernard. Perhaps a Helen? Do let me know? Thanks you! L. D.
